DANCING GIRL

The dancing girl is an excellent world-famous bronze statue of the protohistoric face from Mohenjo-Daro. It is full of lively forceful expressions resting in a dance pose. Her right hand is on her waist as if where relaxing after a long dance, which signifies its name 'Dancing Girl'. On her right arm, she wears only three bracelets between her wrist and elbow. Her left hand, dangling freely is fully covered with the peculiar shape of bangles from the wrist up to shoulder.

The lower portion of her legs is broken. A flat nose, big lower lip, and curly hair lock reflect her trivial look. Her hair lock is tilted on the right side. The necklace adds to her immense beauty. Her eyes are large and half-closed which really depicts that trained and perfect dancing structure. Now it is a collection of national museum New Delhi.
